Delta’s First Album   4th July 2004
Delta Goodrem may need to give evidence in a trial relating to her first album, Delta, which was unreleased.  Delta recorded the album in 1999 and 2000 with Melbourne producers, Trevor Carter and Paul Higgins of Empire Records.  The two say that they are entitled to release the album, while the Goodrems would prefer it disappeared, as it does not represent where Delta is at and could interfere with her next CD.  Court action is expected against Delta’s parents, Denis and Lea, who co-produced Delta.

Today, Network Ten and Grundy Television announced that Delta Goodrem would return to the set of Neighbours to film her final scenes as Nina Tucker. Delta left the show last July when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease, a form of lymphatic cancer.
“I’m really excited to be back on set with all my friends - the wonderful cast and crew. I can’t wait to get back into the role of Nina Tucker. I really enjoy being on the set of Neighbours,” said Delta.
“Delta had to leave the show at such short notice and it is great to have her back, healthy and well, to complete this part of Nina’s story and fulfill the wishes of her many dedicated fans,” said Ric Pellizzeri, Neighbours executive producer.
“We’re so glad to have Delta back for the apparent conclusion of the Nina story. We’ve missed her greatly, although we think that there is a very good chance that we may see more of Nina and Delta in the not too distant future,” said Neighbours producer Peter Dodds.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that such a cherished member of the Neighbours cast - Delta, is back to take us on a new adventure with Nina,” said Sue Masters, head of Drama at Network Ten.
Nina’s return to Ramsay Street sees a reunion with serial cheater and ex-boyfriend Jack Scully, played by Jay Bunyan.
“I’m really excited that Delta is back. I haven’t seen her for a while. It’s great to get back on the set again and bring back our characters’ love for each other,” said Jay.
Delta will be on set for a total of one and a half days and will appear in 12 scenes, which will be appear over four or five episodes.  Viewers can tune into TEN later in the year, and also BBC1 in the UK in November 2004.
