Updates 20th November 2016
Apologies for the lack of updates recently, although it’s continued to be a busy few months for Delta. At the end of September, Delta released The River as the fifth single from the album along with a stunning music video. Of course, the main event in October and November was the Wings Of The Wild Tour, which was a resounding success and featured a staggering 30 songs! To coincide with the tour, a deluxe edition of the album was released, featuring a greatest hits music video DVD. Delta also released a music video for Heavy, although it is not clear whether this will be another single. Finally, as well as celebrating her 32nd birthday last week, Delta was inducted into the Cosmopolitan’s Hall of Fame, receiving the award from former prime minister Julia Gillard.
Upcoming Appearances 16th September 2016
Delta has been busy this past month recording for the fifth series of House Husbands and preparing for the upcoming Wings Of The Wild Tour. Next week, Delta will be returning to New Zealand for a free concert at the Tuning Fork in Auckland for a few hundred lucky fans. The following week, she will be hosting Nickelodeon’s SlimeFest in Melbourne and Sydney as well as performing two songs. In addition to that, Delta will be performing at the Grand Final of The Footy Show on 29 September for the second year running, and her episode of Who Do You Think You Are? also airs that week on 27 September. Meanwhile, it looks as though The River may be the next single released from the Wings Of The Wild album, having already been sent to radio in New Zealand.
Who Do You Think You Are? 1st August 2016
The announcements keep on coming, as it has just been revealed that Delta will feature in the upcoming Australian series of Who Do You Think You Are?, airing from September on SBS. Delta will be researching her family history and following the trail of her ancestors, in what is set to be an emotional journey of self-discovery. Meanwhile, Delta remains the hot favourite to play Olivia Newton-John in a biopic of the legendary Australian, which has just received funding from Film Victoria.
House Husbands 29th July 2016
It has just been announced that Delta will be joining the cast of the Australian TV series House Husbands later this year. She will play Izzy Dreyfus, a reading recovery teacher, who is beautiful, tomboyish and has an audacious attitude. Another announcement that took place this week was a new date being added to Delta’s upcoming Wings Of The Wild Tour. Delta will perform a show in the Australian capital Canberra on 29 October and tickets go on general sale next week.
New Website 24th July 2016
As promised, Planet Delta has had another brand new makeover for 2016 and Wings Of The Wild! Check out all the new content, especially a fun new game to add to the growing list of the famous Planet Delta Games! Today also marks one year since the release of Wings, which was a perfect start to this chapter and has turned out to be one of her defining songs. There are now less than 100 days until Delta kicks off her Wings Of The Wild Tour, so if you haven’t already got tickets, make sure you head to Ticketek and get some before they all go!
Double Win 10th July 2016
Delta has had a fantastic week with two reasons to celebrate. Firstly, her fifth album Wings Of The Wild debuted at #1 on the ARIA album charts, becoming her fourth album to reach the top spot. Secondly, Team Delta went into the grand finale of The Voice with two out of the four finalists and Delta ended up having the top two artists, Adam Ladell and the winner Alfie Arcuri!
Delta’s latest single Enough was performed on The Voice last week, resulting in a chart increase from #46 to #33, and the music video has just premiered. Tickets for Delta’s Wings Of The Wild Tour have also gone on sale, with the VIP Meet & Greet packages selling out within minutes! A bonus track, called Morse Code, was made available for fans who bought VIP tickets for the tour.
Despite no physicals copies and no promotion, the album also managed to chart in the UK at #129 on digital sales and streams alone. It reached #28 on the album downloads chart and #94 on the sales chart. This is Delta’s first appearance on the UK charts since 2005, so hopefully a proper promo trip is planned for the album later in the year.

Happy Easter! 27th March 2016
Firstly, Happy Easter to everyone! This is always a special time for Planet Delta, as we were launched on Easter Sunday 2004! Therefore, it seemed an appropriate time for a long-awaited update. As you can see, we’ve reverted back to the 2013 layout, so it’s not a big update, but it’s one nonetheless! A lot has happened in the last couple of years, so below you’ll find a quick recap of the highlights.
Delta kicked off 2014 with a stunning performance of Des’ree’s Kissing You from the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet as part of a tribute to the director Baz Luhrmann at the AACTA Awards, which you can see here. Also in 2014, Delta was announced as the face of Oral-B, and recorded a version of Joe Cocker’s You Can Leave Your Hat On for a TV advert here. As part of her involvement with Oral-B, Delta also returned to Mardi Gras for the second year running, and performed a medley of her hits, complete with shiny white teeth! Delta took a break from The Voice for its third season, but instead took on the role of coach in the first Australian season of The Voice Kids, where she mentored 10 year-old Alexa Curtis to victory. In September, Delta joined Andrea Bocelli on tour for a third time, this time performing to crowds in Australia and New Zealand. They sang classics such as Canto della terra, Time To Say Goodbye, Can’t Help Falling In Love, and Delta performed a cover of Martika’s 1991 Australian #1 single Love Thy Will Be Done, which was also released as a single. Delta ended the year celebrating her 30th birthday as well as the 30th anniversary of Neighbours, for which she reprised her role as Nina Tucker for three episodes you can see here. Delta also duetted with Gurrumul again on a beautiful version of Silent Night for the Salvation Army’s annual Spirit Of Christmas album.
